Antonios Samoladas

Antonis Samoladas was born in Katerini. Since his childhood, he was fascinated by Soutsos and Souris’ facetious lyrics and started writing his own quatrains. In his teens, he started collecting “beautiful” words and phrases which he kept writing down in a notebook. In his teens, he also started writing poems, always as an amateur, and they remained in a drawer for many years. He also worked at OTE Group, the Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation. In recent years, he began to publish material on social media and in publishing houses.

In 2020, he published his poem collection “YEARNING WORDS” in the English language.

In 2020, he published his second poem collection “YEARNING WORDS.”

In 2018, he published his first poem collection “WORDS IN LOVE.”

In 2020, the GRAND ENCYCLOPEDIA OF MODERN GREEK LITERATURE was published by the house HARI PATSI which includes his work with ten characteristic poems of his.

He has also been included in five anthologies:

He has been a member of a poetry competition’s jury. He’s a member of the Union of Writers of Pieria. His favourite subjects are love, enticement, and a woman’s presence in or absence from our life…
