Marina Papagavriil Konstantinidou was born in Nicosia, Cyprus. She studied Economics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and attended seminars in Pedagogy at the School of Philosophy. She is also a piano graduate from Athens Conservatory. From an early age, she dabbled in poetry and prose, music and painting. She has contributed poems and articles to various journals and magazines. In 2005, she published her first novel entitled As a Woman to the Snake and Ladders Game, in 2010 she published her second novel, Love’s Libretto, and in 2015 her third novel Humming Bird — It’s all a journey came out. It was the offshoot of her engagement in the ancient Greek philosophy, self-awareness seminars and bio-energetic techniques courses. Her fairy tale Jiri-Joe on Crystal Star, which was uploaded on Amazon.com in 2015, was transcribed in the Braille alphabet by Saint Barnabas School for the Blind, Nicosia, and it is handed out for free to blind children. Her poems are included in various anthologies that have come out with Dianysma Editions, Athens, and other Cypriot and Greek Editions. In 2015, her poetry collection Poetic Diary was published by Ostria Editions, Athens.
